Microsoft has just released a patch for Internet Explorer to fix a recently discovered and very dangerous security flaw that could allow hackers to install viruses and malware on computers that visit a malicious or infected website. The vulnerability is in all versions of Internet Explorer: 5.0, 6.0, 7.0 - even beta releases of 8.0.
Here is a good summary of the issue:

We recommend that all of our clients install this patch immediately by going to http://update.microsoft.com/ and following the prompts to download and install any security updates.
That Microsoft has released outside of its once-a-month update program indicates the seriousness of this flaw. There have already been reports of thousands of hackers attempting to exploit this flaw.
Bitwits will be available to install the update for any users requiring assistance or wanting us to install the patch on all office computers and servers.
Please send any requests for help to our new ticketing system at bwsupport@bitwits.com
